Popular Business Resolutions are all a buzz as we have entered a new year. Many people make resolutions for the New Year. Weight loss, eating healthier, spending less and saving more and leaving bad habits behind are just a few.

As a business owner or entrepreneur have you set your goals for the New Year, some of which may have fallen on the list of popular business resolutions?  2016 may have been a great year or not so great. However, have you thought about or reflected on the past year of 2016. Are there areas you need to improved or even get started on?

No one can really tell you what your resolutions should be because they are personal. However, I’ll still share some of the most popular ones from our Top Five Popular New Year Business Resolutions of 2017.

  1. Joining an organization or group.

Network and build new relationships. Is it time to expand your circle?  Well it wouldn’t hurt. Start to attend events periodically to get your name out there.

There’s nothing like talking to other business people for sparking new ideas, refining old ones, and making contacts. Whether it’s a group specifically designed for networking or an organization dedicated to entreprneuship, in person or over the internet, making the effort to be a part of a group will revitalize you

  1. Set realistic goals.

First of all make goals that are achievable. Keep in mind where your business stands at the moment. Be true about your capabilities.  Set concrete goals.

  1. Better Time Management

Use your time more wisely and become more productive. Make a to-do list and stick with it. Even if you only add two items write it them down and like Nike says, “Just Do It”.

  1. Learn something new.

Perfect your craft. Learn something that is related to your business or even completely unrelated that you may have an interest in. Add to your skills and add a new dimension of interest to your life – another important part of achieving a healthy work-life balance and increasing your business success.

  1. Healthier Mind and Body

Take care of yourself because running yourself in the ground while running your business helps no one. Your business may suffer and your personal life may be in danger of suffering also. Life in general and especially the life of a busy entrepreneur can be very hectic and stressful. Learn to slow down if you have to and take advantage of the many tools that are created to make running your business smoother.

If you’re not doing this then it’s time to start. Make yourself available to help your follow entrepreneurs and others. This may be done by buying their products, using their services or attending their events and simply sharing what they have to offer.

You would be surprised how clicking and sharing another entreprenuer’s business information, page or event goes a long way in helping them. And don’t worry about sending business their way. There is plenty for everyone. Trust me what is meant for you is for you. You will receive what you’re suppose to have.
